Dr. Stephan Bamberger is a licensed and nationally certified acupuncturist and herbalist. 

He holds a masters degree in Acupuncture from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, and a PhD in chemistry from the University of Heidelberg in Germany . His career in bio-medical research includes work in research facilities in both Germany and the US , among them NASA's Marshal Space Flight Center , where he was involved in experiments conducted on the space shuttle, Oregon Health Sciences University 's department of neurology, and the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Germany . He has  published over 30 articles on various topics in scientific journals. As a scientist, he is well aware of both the value and the limitations of modern science in explaining the cause and cure of the illnesses suffered by man. In his awareness of its limitations, he looked beyond the confines of of traditional science and found in oriental medicine answers to questions that western bio-medical science does not address. 

Dr Stephan Bamberger brings to his patients a blend of western scientific thought and oriental medical understanding.
